On behalf of vessel owners, Ceylon Star shipping can be responsible for the recruitment, training, deployment, and welfare of the onboard crew. This includes ensuring that the crew has the necessary qualifications and certifications, managing work rotations, and addressing any personnel-related issues.

We perform Technical Management of the ship which involves the day-to-day operational and technical aspects of ship maintenance. It includes ensuring that the vessels comply with international and local regulations, overseeing repairs and maintenance, managing the onboard technical crew, and handling technical documentation.

On behalf of vessel owners, Ceylon Logistics can be responsible for the recruitment, training, deployment, and welfare of the onboard crew. We support owners with Commercial management focusing on the business and financial aspects of operating a fleet. This includes chartering arrangements, negotiating contracts, optimizing voyage planning, and managing financial transactions related to the vessels.

Safety and Quality Management is another crucial aspect of the service we provide to owners. We ensure that the safety of the crew, passengers, and the environment is paramount. This involves implementing and maintaining safety management systems, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards.

We support our customers to stay abreast of international and regional regulations governing maritime operations. This includes compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and other legal requirements as per Sri Lankan regulatory bodies such as CEA and MEPA.

We support owners managing risks related to maritime operations. Ship managers are involved in assessing and mitigating risks, arranging insurance coverage, and handling claims in case of incidents.

We coordinate the supply chain for the ships, including procuring spare parts, fuel, and other necessary supplies, which is part of ship management. Efficient logistics contribute to the smooth operation of vessels.
